In August 2010, the turnover in manufacturing industry declined by 1.0%, after a rise in July (+2.5%). Exports slightly dipped (–0.2%), after +1.2% in July.

In August 2010, the turnover in manufacturing industry declined by 1.0%, after a rise in July (+2.5%). Exports slightly dipped (–0.2%), after +1.2% in July.
The turnover fell in the manufacture of transport equipment (–4.5%). It also went down in the electrical and electronic equipment ; machine equipment (–0.9%) and was steady in the other manufacturing (–0.1%).
The turnover of the industry as a whole (B to E) also decreased in August (–1.1%).
On a quarterly basis (Q/Q–1), the turnover in manufacturing industry rose by 1.3%. It primarily increased in the electrical and electronic equipment ; machine equipment (+1.8%), in the other manufacturing (+1.7%) and in the manufacture of transport equipment (+1.4%).
Compared to the same three months of the previous year, the turnover in manufacturing industry grew by 6.0% (Q/Q–4). It notably rised in the other manufacturing (+6.7%) and in the manufacture of transport equipment (+6.6%).
