In April 2010, new orders received in industry (except heavy transport equipment) increased slowly by 0.3%, after an increase in March (2.5%; first estimate: 2.6%).
In April 2010, new orders received in industry (except heavy transport equipment) increased slowly by 0.3%, after an increase in March (2.5%; first estimate: 2.6%).
Non domestic new orders decreased in April (-1.4%).
Over the last quarter, new orders decreased in industry (-1.1%)
Over the same period, non domestic new orders rose (+1.9% q-o-q).
New orders decreased by 9.9% (q-o-q) in automobile and by 3.3% in “electrical and electronic equipment”. On the contrary, in the “other manufacturing” sector, new orders increased by 2.3%.
Compared to last year, new orders are higher (+10.6%)
The quarterly level of new orders is 10.6% higher than a year ago.
