According to the business leaders questioned in July, the industrial economic situation in France improved: the business climate indicator increases by two points. It places now on its highest level since july 2008. The turning point indicator stays to the neutral area, indicating an economic uncertainty.

According to the business leaders questioned in July, the industrial economic situation in France improved: the business climate indicator increases by two points. It places now on its highest level since july 2008. The turning point indicator stays to the neutral area, indicating an economic uncertainty.
Business leaders consider that their past activity increased in manufacturing industry, still above its long-term average. Stocks of finished goods decrease and are rated light. Order books, total and export, improve in July, but remain low.
The personal production outlook for the next month deteriorates anew and is considered as low. Conversely, the general production outlook, which represents business leaders’ opinion on French industry as a whole, increases slightly and stays yet above its long-term average.
