In December, the turnover rises in the retail trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles (+0.7%) and in accomodation and food service activities (+0.6%).It is stable in the trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles(0.0%), whereas it decreases in households services (–1.0%).
Every indices in this issue are in volume, seasonnally and working-day ajusted.
In December, the turnover rises in the retail trade except of motor vehicles and motorcycles (+0.7%) and in accomodation and food service activities (+0.6%). It is stable in the trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles (0.0%), whereas it decreases in households services (–1.0%).
In Q4 2009, the turnover expands in the trade and repair of motor vehicles and motocycles (+1.0%, q-o-q). It slightly rises in the “retail trade…” (+0.3%) while it declines in accomodation and food service activities (–0.6%) and in households services (–0.6%).
Compared to the same quarter one year before, the turnover is down in accomodation and food service activities (–2.2%, y-o-y) and in households services (-0.8%). Conversely, it stands at higher level in the trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles (+2.4%) and, to a lesser extent, in the “retail trade…” (+0.8%).
According to our early estimate, the turnover in the “retail trade…” would be steady in January 2010 (0.0%).
