In February 2010, the turnover rose in the transportation and storage sector (+2.9%) and in the wholesale trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles (+1.1%). It slightly expanded in “information and communication” (+0.3%). It was broadly steady in real estate activities (+0.1%) and in business support activities (–0.2%).
Every index in this issue is in value, seasonally and working-day ajusted.
In February 2010, the turnover rose in the transportation and storage sector (+2.9%) and in the wholesale trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles (+1.1%). It slightly expanded in “information and communication” (+0.3%). It was broadly steady in real estate activities (+0.1%) and in business support activities (–0.2%).
On a quarterly basis, the turnover increased in “transportation and storage” (+1.4%, q-o-q), in the “wholesale trade…” (+1.1%), in “information and communication” (+1.0%) and in real estate activities (+0.9%). It was nearly stable in “transportation and storage” (+0.2%).
Compared to the same three months of the previous year, the turnover of the last three months was still down in the “wholesale trade…” (–3.5%, y-o-y), in “transportation and storage” (–2.5%) and in business support activities (–1.9%). Conversely, it stood at higher level than a year ago in real estate activities (+2.4%) and in ”information and communication” (+1.0%).
