In December 2009, new orders received in industry (except heavy transport equipment) highly increased (+14.9%), after an increase in November (+0.6%; first estimate: +0.2%).

Non domestic new orders boosted in December (+19.5%).
Over the last quarter, new orders increased in industry (+4.7%)
Over the last quarter, non domestic new orders also rose (+5.0% q-o-q).
New orders increased by 4.3% in the “other manufacturing” sector, by 10.2% in automobile and by 0.7% in “electrical and electronic equipment”.
Compared to last year, new orders in Q4 are almost at the same level
The quarterly level of new orders is 1.0% lower than a year ago.
