French producer prices in industry dedicated to the domestic market increased by 0.4% in August (after 0.1% in July). This overall rise is driven by coke and refined petroleum products prices. Year-on-year, they fell by 8.5%.
Producer price indices in industry
FRENCH MARKET: +0.4 % IN AUGUST AFTER -0.1 % IN JULY
French producer prices in industry dedicated to the domestic market increased by 0.4% in August (after 0.1% in July). This overall rise is driven by coke and refined petroleum products prices. Year-on-year, they fell by 8.5%.
FOREIGN MARKETS: +0.4 % AFTER -0.4 %
French non-domestic industrial producer prices went up by 0.4 % in August. Compared to August 2009, they decreased by -5.6 %.
ALL MARKETS: +0.5 % AFTER -0.2 %
French industrial producer prices for all markets (French and foreign markets) rose by 0.5 % in August. Year-on-year, they decreased by 7.5%.
Import prices indices of industrial products: +1.2 % after -0.5 %
In August, prices of imported industrial products increased by 1.2 % mainly due to the rise in prices of coke and refined petroleum products prices. They dropped by 8.2 % year-on-year.
