Statistical concepts and definitions
The survey investigates:
- The extent to which households are equipped with internet access (including internet
via mobile phone, computer or tablet;
- Their uses and frequencies of use and their use of eGovernment and e-commerce.
Every year, the Information and Communication Technologies Survey assesses an item thanks to a specific module:
- In 2009, E-commerce and trust
- In 2010, internet security
- In 2011, people's skills in information technology and internet (“e-skills”) and
how they have learned them
- In 2012, the mobile use of the internet
- In 2013, the use of e-Government
- In 2014, the use of Cloud Services
- In 2015, Internet security
- In 2016, confidentiality and protection of privacy
- In 2017, questions on the use of the Internet and the use of e-commerce have been
expanded, and an extension is carried out in the DOM
- In 2018, ICT at work
- In 2019, E-skills
Statistical population
Households in which at least one person is aged 15 or over.
