Historique :

The IPPAP was successively calculated with a base of 1955, 1970, 1975, 1980, 1990, 1995, 2000 and 2005. It is calculated and disseminated with a base of 2010 since March 2013.

Méthodologie :

The nature of the product and the market configuration determine the content of the records: inclusion or not of harvest, storage, transport and packaging costs, subsidies, margins, financial costs and methods of payment. Then the observation is focused on the price at entry to the slaughterhouse, exit from the shipping platform, free at the port of shipment.

Some "farm prices" are calculated once a year and kept constant throughout the marketing period following the harvest. The indices for fresh fruit and vegetables prices on the one hand, and cut flowers parts on the other hand, are calculated according to the variable baskets technique (their composition in fine products vary according to the month of the year). The IPPAP index is aggregated into a fixed base Laspeyres index reference 2010. The weighting coefficients are selected from the agricultural accounts. A specific nomenclature is used for IPPAP.

Autres spécifications :

Some series have been backcast to 1949's. Newest series are calculated only since 2005.
