• natural gas biogas and other gases ;
• coal, lignite, lean coal, coal coke
• petroleum coke, butane, propane, heavy fuel oil, domestic fuel oil, non-road diesel and other petroleum products ;
• wood and wood by-products, black liquor;
• hydrogen;
• special renewable and non-renewable fuels.

The dataset includes, for each type of energy, the quantities consumed, the related costs (€ thousand), and the breakdown by end use.

The interrogation unit is the establishment, identified by its SIRET number.

The population is composed by establishments with 20 or more employees, with at least 4 months of activity in 2026, with main activity code (APET) belonging to sections B and C and to division 38 (NACE Rev 2.1), excluding subclasses 10.13H, 10.71H et 10.71J (commercial crafts), excluding divisions 05, 06 and 19, and excluding group 09.1.
The sample includes approximately 8000 establishments.

Year 2026
