Data collection
To obtain the implication of the person questioned, the supports of the exercises
are varied, not very academic, but on the contrary rather close to the documents of
daily life (a television program, a music CD…).
The level of difficulty of the exercises is adapted to the skill level of the person,
thanks to an orientation procedure after the first questions.
Thus, if the respondent does not encounter any particular difficulties, they are directed
towards more complex exercises which make it possible to define competences such as
the ability to select the essential information of a text.
On the other hand, if the results at the end of the orientation process are weak,
the respondent takes a test consisting of fairly simple exercises allowing the diagnosis
to be refined on his difficulties towards written matters.
