Multiannual

The survey is biennial and each survey covers a three-year period.
CIS2014 covers the three years 2012, 2013 and 2014.
It took place between June and December 2015.
Collection on the Internet is preferred. However, companies that request it are given the opportunity to reply on paper.

Legal unit

The CIS2014 sample is taken directly from the SIRUS directory.
It consists of approximately 23,000 units. It includes an exhaustive part (legal units with a minimum of 250 employees or more). The sampling design is stratified according to the crossover of activity and the number of employees.
