The Gross Salary Index - Index-Based Scale (ITB-GI) takes over from the basic monthly gross salary index.

An index of the same type, the Net Salary Index - Index-Based Scale (ITN-GI) is also calculated on the net value of the salary; it is also available in the INSEE macro-economic database (BDM).
