Définition

A person's usual residence is the dwelling where he or she lives, and to which he or she is attached in the case of multiple residences. As a general rule, people who live in more than one dwelling are attached to the dwelling where they live the majority of the time; in the event of a tie (particularly for children in alternating residence), to the dwelling where they slept on a given reference night.
