Définition
A sales outlet is a commercial or service establishment that has a customer reception area. Points of sale exclude ancillary establishments, such as warehouses or offices not intended to receive customers.
In the case of commercial points of sale, the reception area is a store with a sales area. In the case of services, reception areas have different names depending on the activity: they may be bars, restaurants, hair or beauty salons, bank branches, or real estate agencies, for example.
