Définition
A household in the statistical sense of the word means all the occupants of the same dwelling, without these people necessarily being related (e. g. roommates). A household may consist of only one person.
Remarque
Depending on the survey, other conditions are used to define what a household is.
This concept has not been used since August 2025. It has been replaced by concepts c2355 "Household (in the sense of household-dwelling)" and c2356 "Household (in the sense of household-housekeeping unit)".
