According to the business leaders questioned in November 2012, the industrial economic situation remains negatively oriented in spite of a slightly improvement of the synthetic indicator which increases in three points: in fact, it remains very below its long-term average .

According to the business leaders questioned in November 2012, the industrial economic situation remains negatively oriented in spite of a slightly improvement of the synthetic indicator which increases in three points: in fact, it remains very below its long-term average .
The turning point indicator goes up to the neutral area, indicating an economic uncertainty.
Business leaders consider that the rhythm of activity remains negatively oriented: the balance of opinion increases slightly but remains very low.
Looking at the personal production outlook, the business leaders remain pessimistic about their future activity.
Even if total order books increase and export order books are nearly steady, they are considered as very low.
The general production outlook, which represents business leaders’ opinion on French industry as a whole, gets better; this balance of opinion increases but its level remains very low.
Stocks of finished products are steady and their level is rated as above their long-term average.
