In December 2010, the turnover rose in the sector of information and communication (+0.5%) and in business support activities (+0.5%). It was almost stable in real estate activities (+0.1%). Conversely, it slightly declined in the wholesale trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles (–0.3%) and in transportation and storage (–0.2%).
Every index in this issue is in value, seasonally and working-day adjusted.
In December 2010, the turnover rose in the sector of information and communication (+0.5%) and in business support activities (+0.5%). It was almost stable in real estate activities (+0.1%). Conversely, it slightly declined in the wholesale trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles (–0.3%) and in transportation and storage (–0.2%).

Quarter on quarter (q-o-q), the turnover increased : by 2.1% in the “wholesale trade...”, by 0.8% in real estate activities, and by 0.7% in the sector of information and communication and in business support activities. Conversely, it dropped in transportation and storage (–1.5%).
Year on year (y-o-y), the turnover picked up by 8.7% in the “wholesale trade...” and by 6.4% in transportation and storage. It also grew in the sector of information and communication (+3.6%), in business support activities (+3.6%) and in real estate activities (+2.7%).
The SA-WDA evolution in November has been revised by –0.2 point in the sector of information and communication, by –0.1 point in transportation and storage and by +0.1 point in the “wholesale trade...”. In the same period, the turnover’s variation has been confirmed in the sector of business support activities and in real estate activities.
