According to the business leaders questioned in April, the industrial economic situation in France improved anew: The business climate indicator increases by four points. It remains below its long term average nevertheless. The turning point indicator places in the favorable area. Business leaders consider that their past activity increased noticeably in manufacturing industry, which includes the ‘Manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products’ sector from now on. Stocks of finished goods decrease again and are rated very light. Total order books increase but stay low. Export order books, which was light before, decrease anew. The personal production outlook for the next month stabilizes near its long-term average. The general production outlook, which represents business leaders’ opinion on French industry as a whole, increase strongly
