This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2014 :

  • 01/01/2015 – Auxon-Dessus devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein des Auxons (25035) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2015 – Création de la commune nouvelle des Auxons en lieu et place des communes d'Auxon-Dessous (25034) et d'Auxon-Dessus (25035) devenues déléguées.
