Tourism share in GDP in 2023 In 2023, tourism share in GDP stabilised at 3.8%

In 2023, all activities directly related to tourism accounted for 3.8% of France's gross domestic product (GDP), as in 2022. This tourism GDP amounted to 109 billion euros. The direct gross value added of tourism increased by 7.6% compared to 2022. This growth was driven by almost all characteristic tourism activities, particularly visitor accommodation and air transport, but excluding road and rail passenger transport.
