This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2013:

  • 01/01/2016 – Vassy devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Valdallière (14726) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Valdallière en lieu et place des communes de Bernières-le-Patry (14065), de Burcy (14113), de Chênedollé (14156), du Désert (14222), d'Estry (14253), de Montchamp (14442), de Pierres (14503), de Presles (14521), de La Rocque (14539), de Rully (14549), de Saint-Charles-de-Percy (14564), du Theil-Bocage (14686), de Vassy (14726) et de Viessoix (14746) devenues déléguées.
