This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2013 :

  • 01/01/2016 – Theil-sur-Vanne devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein des Vallées de la Vanne (89411) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle des Vallées de la Vanne en lieu et place des communes de Chigy (89107), de Theil-sur-Vanne (89411) et de Vareilles (89429) devenues déléguées.
