This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2013 :

  • 01/01/2016 – Aime devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein d'Aime-la-Plagne (73006) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle d'Aime-la-Plagne en lieu et place des communes d'Aime (73006), de Granier (73126) et de Montgirod (73169) devenues déléguées.
