This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2013 :

  • 01/01/2016 – Villedieu-les-Poêles devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Villedieu-les-Poêles-Rouffigny (50639) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Villedieu-les-Poêles-Rouffigny en lieu et place des communes de Rouffigny (50440) et de Villedieu-les-Poêles (50639) devenues déléguées.
