This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2013 :

  • 01/01/2019 – Saint-Denis-les-Ponts devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Saint-Denis-Lanneray (28334) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2019 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Saint-Denis-Lanneray en lieu et place des communes de Lanneray (28205) et de Saint-Denis-les-Ponts (28334) devenues déléguées.
