This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2013 :

  • 01/01/2017 – Neuvéglise devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Neuvéglise-sur-Truyère (15142) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2017 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Neuvéglise-sur-Truyère en lieu et place des communes de Lavastrie (15099), de Neuvéglise (15142), d'Oradour (15145) et de Sériers (15227) devenues déléguées.
