Winter tourist season 2025 Attendance in French collective accommodations remained stable

Attendance in collective accommodations in France during the winter season of 2025 stabilized at a level comparable to 2024, despite a promising early season. Although non-resident customers confirmed their return, particularly in hotels, this did not compensate for the drop in resident attendance.
Attendance was down in all mountain areas, collective accommodation losing much of its appeal to resident customers. Only the major cities, Paris in particular, experienced an increase in tourist activity, while the decline in business hotel attendance continued.
