This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2012 :

  • 01/01/2016 – Thaon-les-Vosges devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Capavenir Vosges (88465) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Capavenir Vosges en lieu et place des communes de Girmont (88204), d'Oncourt (88337) et de Thaon-les-Vosges (88465) devenues déléguées.
