This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2012 :

  • 01/01/2016 – Granges-sur-Vologne devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Granges-Aumontzey (88218) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Granges-Aumontzey en lieu et place des communes d'Aumontzey (88018) et de Granges-sur-Vologne (88218) devenues déléguées.
