  • 01/01/2019 – Thouars (commune chef-lieu) est rattachée à Thouars (79329) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2019 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Thouars en lieu et place des communes de Mauzé-Thouarsais (79171), de Missé (79178), de Sainte-Radegonde (79292) et de Thouars (79329).
