This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2012 :

  • 01/01/2016 – Faverges devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Faverges-Seythenex (74123) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Faverges-Seythenex en lieu et place des communes de Faverges (74123) et de Seythenex (74270) devenues déléguées.
