This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2012 :

  • 01/01/2016 – Flat devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein d'Aulhat-Flat (63160) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle d'Aulhat-Flat en lieu et place des communes d'Aulhat-Saint-Privat (63018) et de Flat (63160) devenues déléguées.
