This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2012 :

  • 01/01/2016 – Morez devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Hauts de Bienne (39368) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Hauts de Bienne en lieu et place des communes de Lézat (39294), de Morez (39368) et de La Mouille (39371) devenues déléguées.
