This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2012 :

  • 01/01/2017 – Saint-Brice-en-Coglès devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Maen Roch (35257) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2017 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Maen Roch en lieu et place des communes de Saint-Brice-en-Coglès (35257) et de Saint-Étienne-en-Coglès (35267) devenues déléguées.
