This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2012 :

  • 01/01/2016 – Saint-Thégonnec devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Saint-Thégonnec Loc-Eguiner (29266) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Saint-Thégonnec Loc-Eguiner en lieu et place des communes de Loc-Eguiner-Saint-Thégonnec (29127) et de Saint-Thégonnec (29266) devenues déléguées.
