This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2012 :

  • 01/03/2016 – Étables-sur-Mer devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Binic-Étables-sur-Mer (22055) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/03/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Binic-Étables-sur-Mer en lieu et place des communes de Binic (22007) et d'Étables-sur-Mer (22055) devenues déléguées.
