This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2012:

  • 01/01/2017 – Jaunay-Clan devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Jaunay-Marigny (86115) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2017 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Jaunay-Marigny en lieu et place des communes de Jaunay-Clan (86115) et de Marigny-Brizay (86146) devenues déléguées.
