This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2012:

  • 01/01/2019 – Quettreville-sur-Sienne reste déléguée au sein de Quettreville-sur-Sienne (50419) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2019 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Quettreville-sur-Sienne en lieu et place des communes de Contrières (50140), de Guéhébert (50223), de Hérenguerville (50244), de Quettreville-sur-Sienne (50419) et de Trelly (50605).
  • 01/01/2016 – Quettreville-sur-Sienne devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Quettreville-sur-Sienne (50419) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Quettreville-sur-Sienne en lieu et place des communes de Hyenville (50255) et de Quettreville-sur-Sienne (50419) devenues déléguées.
