This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2012:

  • 01/01/2017 – Sept-Vents devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Val de Drôme (14672) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2017 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Val de Drôme en lieu et place des communes de Dampierre (14217), de La Lande-sur-Drôme (14350), de Saint-Jean-des-Essartiers (14596) et de Sept-Vents (14672) devenues déléguées.
