This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2011:

  • 01/01/2019 – Usseau devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Val-du-Mignon (79334) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2019 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Val-du-Mignon en lieu et place des communes de Priaires (79219), de Thorigny-sur-le-Mignon (79328) et d'Usseau (79334) devenues déléguées.
