This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2011:

  • 01/01/2019 – Celles-sur-Belle devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Celles-sur-Belle (79061) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2019 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Celles-sur-Belle en lieu et place des communes de Celles-sur-Belle (79061) et de Saint-Médard (79282).
