This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2011:

  • 01/01/2019 – Les Marches devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Porte-de-Savoie (73151) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2019 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Porte-de-Savoie en lieu et place des communes de Francin (73118) et des Marches (73151) devenues déléguées.
