This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2011:

  • 01/01/2016 – Albens devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein d'Entrelacs (73010) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle d'Entrelacs en lieu et place des communes d'Albens (73010), de Cessens (73062), d'Épersy (73108), de Mognard (73158), de Saint-Germain-la-Chambotte (73238) et de Saint-Girod (73239) devenues déléguées.
