This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2011:

  • 01/01/2018 – Le Lude devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein du Lude (72176) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2018 – Création de la commune nouvelle du Lude en lieu et place des communes de Dissé-sous-le-Lude (72117) et du Lude (72176) devenues déléguées.
