This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2011:

  • 01/01/2016 – Mortzwiller devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein du Haut Soultzbach (68219) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle du Haut Soultzbach en lieu et place des communes de Mortzwiller (68219) et de Soppe-le-Haut (68314) devenues déléguées.
