This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2011:

  • 01/01/2016 – Aspach-le-Haut devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein d'Aspach-Michelbach (68012) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle d'Aspach-Michelbach en lieu et place des communes d'Aspach-le-Haut (68012) et de Michelbach (68206) devenues déléguées.
