This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2011:

  • 01/01/2016 – Saint-Martin-au-Laërt devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Saint-Martin-lez-Tatinghem (62757) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Saint-Martin-lez-Tatinghem en lieu et place des communes de Saint-Martin-au-Laërt (62757) et de Tatinghem (62807) devenues déléguées.
