This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2011:

  • 01/01/2016 – La Chapelle-d'Andaine devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Rives d'Andaine (61096) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Rives d'Andaine en lieu et place des communes de La Chapelle-d'Andaine (61096), de Couterne (61135), de Geneslay (61186) et d'Haleine (61200) devenues déléguées.
