This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2011:

  • 01/01/2016 – Ghyvelde devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Ghyvelde (59260) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Ghyvelde en lieu et place des communes de Ghyvelde (59260) et des Moëres (59404) devenues déléguées.
